Hi, I’m Lau Wlasenkov, but my friends call me Wlasen. My love for interior design started when I was in film school. Even though I was majoring in film direction, I somehow ended up doing art direction in my classmates short films. 

By the time I finished school, I was not convinced filmmaking was the right choice for me, so while I was working at a bank, I used my own home as a decor lab.

Eleven years later, and super stressed with my job at the bank, I decided it was time to set a new course in my life, dive into the deep end and explore my artistic side (which, to be honest, is more like 80% of me).

That’s how in December 2020 I decided to quit my job at the bank. Now I’m a full time decorator doing online consultations and creating content, so more people feel empowered to live in a space that feels comfortable and that reflects their taste. In the past two years, I’ve helped over 150 clients and designed more than 200 rooms.
